ZERO EV charging near backcountry trails

By Scott Bradford · January 20, 2023

This is a promising development for clean energy vehicle recreation to have charging infrastructure near off-road adventure routes. Urban trail systems popular with personal electric vehicles could also benefit from some type of charger at trailheads, but I'm not sure what that would look like for E-Bikes, Scooters, and EUCs. From the page:

  • This partnership highlights the growing infrastructure of public EV charge stations along proven ADV routes and builds a foundation for future infrastructure planning by identifying open service points along new routes currently under development. The most immediate benefits of this partnership will include a library of attainable, achievable, and available routes to follow on electric motorcycles from coast to coast. *
