CEVRA advocates for practicing vehicle recreation in a safe manner to respect our riding environment and others around us, preserving our recreational freedoms. We believe that safety starts with knowledge, and to that end are working on safe riding programs to educate riders and be more accessible to new riders.
We intend to cover general safe riding practices, safety gear, as well as add specific safety classes for different types of PEVs (Personal Electric Vehicles), including E-Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards, and EUCs aka Electric Unicycles. We will also include specifics of safety in different riding environments like streets, bike trails, and off-road.
As we progress on the program, we welcome any input from the community to ensure we put together a concise yet comprehensive primer for new riders. Please sign up to our mailing list so we can ask for your feedback and input on what should be included.
